Initial Advice & Management

During our initial consultation, we will discuss the most suitable management option according to factors such as age, impact on function, practicality, and need for specialist involvement.

Vision Therapy

After the initial assessment, we may recommend vision therapy exercises to improve the function of their eyes. We often start with home-based exercises and can advise on the need for more intensive in-office vision therapies. Often a child who may require vision therapy can benefit immensely just with a suitable updated pair of glasses.

Eye Drops

We may recommend or prescribe eye drops in certain conditions such as eye rubbing, eye allergies, conjunctivitis or for control of myopia progression.

Specialty Lenses

We have a wide selection of prescription lenses that can be tailored to the needs of an individual child. Glasses may be recommended to be worn part-time for particular situations alone, or full-time for more significant eye issues.
